Designed for yachts over 40 metres, the Origin 71 expands Evene Tenders’ Origin Series with a refined balance of performance, craftsmanship and sustainability. Seating up to 13 guests, the new tender features Navicork FD01 cork decking from Amorim Cork Solutions, reinforcing the role of advanced natural materials in contemporary luxury design.
Decking that redefines the experience on board
The Origin 71 tender carries forward the meticulous attention to detail that defines the entire Origin Series. Its layout is conceived to balance practicality and comfort, combining generous seating, discreet storage and smooth circulation throughout the deck. On the water, the hull delivers a quiet and stable ride, while every element on board reflects a deliberate approach to understated, timeless luxury.
At the heart of this experience is the Navicork FD01 cork deck, which plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere on board. Natural and soft underfoot, the surface remains cool in the sun and secure in all conditions. Beyond its tactile qualities, the deck adds warmth and visual depth, connecting contemporary marine engineering with a sense of authenticity and craftsmanship.
Design versatility
Navicork FD01 is offered in two distinct design expressions that complement the vessel’s overall language. A traditional plank layout highlights classic marine elegance, while a bespoke contour design, inspired by Ordnance Survey coordinates surrounding the factory, introduces a modern and sculptural identity that reflects Evene Tenders’ connection to place and heritage.
A natural choice for sustainable craftsmanship
For Evene Tenders, the use of cork is both a design and an environmental choice. Navicork FD01 is produced from cork harvested in regenerative cork oak forests, where the bark is carefully removed without cutting down the tree. This natural cycle allows the forest to keep absorbing carbon dioxide, preserving biodiversity and maintaining soil health.
Because cork stores more CO₂ than is released during production, Navicork FD01 carries a negative carbon footprint, contributing to a measurable reduction in the vessel’s overall environmental impact.[1]
